We sing to you, O Sacred Heart, Whose life's a selfless gift. Your death upon the mighty cross From sin did us uplift This emblem signs a love so deep, One we would imitate; Teach us to be your shepherds true, Ours like your heart so great
Our Alma Mater we do love; 'Tis more than hallowed halls Or Gothic tower raised above; Your house is more than walls. The truth pursued is our delight And friendships ever new; Our service to God's people is The song we sing to you.
This house is yours, O Sacred Heart, As seeds we start our way, And with your help we rise above Our sins which lead astray. What we seek is in all our days To serve you faithfully; So, Alma Mater, form in us His Heart for all to see.
