I’m currently working on a history of African Americans in Detroit.

I love the zeal of the students and their desire to learn.

What inspires you in your teaching?

I’m inspired by the great gift of teaching material that I love.

What makes Sacred Heart Major Seminary unique among higher learning institutions?

As a seminary, we are unique for our interaction with lay students; as a college, our clear Catholic and evangelizing focus.

What's one of your favorite memories from your time at Sacred Heart?

My favorite memories are always the ordinations each year.

How do you see the Holy Spirit at work at Sacred Heart?

Through our community’s engagement in faith with problems that are daunting.
