Fr. Alex now resides in Halifax, Nova Scotia where he serves as the Associate Pastor of St. Benedict Parish. The parish is a thriving, mission-focused body working hard to continue to minister to the local community.
Alpha courses continued via Zoom Meetings found great success, and now the parish is launching Alpha online.
St. Benedict's created a new team to care for parishioners and neighbors of the church. The team is making personal phone calls to check in on each other and lend support where needed.
Navigating Tragedy: 20:15
Impacted by the recent mass shooting in Nova Scotia, St. Benedict’s hosted a livestream Memorial Mass and Holy Hour for the victims and the families affected by the tragedy. The parish has been reflecting on the mystery of the cross and the hope of eternal life in this painful time.
