Lay men and women pursuing a degree at Sacred Heart receive more than just academic training. For example, spiritual formation is part of all pastoral ministry degree programs.
In the Heart of the Church will feature presentations from well-known Catholic leaders who are experts in their fields. The first talk is on Thursday, November 5, from 12:003:00 PM. ValLimar Jansen is a dynamic conference speaker and workshop facilitator who has been moving audiences across the country for years. Tapping into her experience as a recording artist, professional actor, and cantor, ValLimar combines music and song with a lively Christian message of faith in God and love of neighbor.
On Thursday, April 7, 12:003:00 PM, Deacon Ralph Poyo delivers a message that will surely move the crowd. Deacon Poyo is the founder of New Evangelization Ministries, whose mission is Training Saints to Lead Hearts to Christ. He travels to scores of parishes and dioceses per year giving seminars, speaking at conferences, and leading parish retreats with a special emphasis on helping parishes to become radical centers of re-evangelization.
