This summer, thirty-four priest from across the world have taken up residence in the halls of Sacred Heart Major Seminary as a part of the Licentiate in Sacred Theology (STL) program. Through four consecutive summer sessions, lasting five weeks each, and a combination of online classes, the priests to receive their advanced degree in four years. STL primarily focuses on the New Evangelization and how the Catholic Church responds to the needs of the world. The men in the program receive valuable instruction from leading theologians and learn how to apply this instruction to their individual situations.
