On August 7, 2019, His Excellency Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron celebrated the Rite of Candidacy Mass for seven Theology I seminarians of the Archdiocese of Detroit, who study at Sacred Heart Major Seminary. The Rite of Candidacy marks the public intention, shared by the candidate and his bishop, to pursue ordination.
