Sharing Their Vocation Story

by Bro. David Brokke

This past weekend on Saturday, February 20th, First Theologians Rodney Abasso and Matthew Montgomery arrived at a Desert Meal hosted by St. Patrick Parish in White Lake, Michigan. Both Rodney and Matthew eagerly shared their vocation story in front of a group of 30-40 generous parishioners. Rodney commented, I find it amazing_ these Desert Meals are a sign of God providing. As the school year begins to wind down, the idea of a pilgrimage to the Holy Land in the mind of many seminarians is becoming more and more of a conrete reality. Rodney mentioned that he believes this pilgrimage will help him follow the way of Jesus and fall deeper in love with Him. A special thank you to St. Patrick Parish and all parishes who have hosted and those who will host a Desert Meal for Sacred Heart Major Seminary seminarians. May God bless you all for your generosity!
