May is always a special month for the Archdiocese of Detroitand for Sacred Heart Major Seminary. It is the month of priestly ordinations.
Fr. David Tomaszycki was ordained for the Archdiocese of Detroit along with his brother alums. He attended Sacred Heart's graduate school of theology before the archbishop assigned him to study at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, where he completed his Bachelor of Sacred Theology this spring.

I hope to answer the call of the New Evangelization by bringing Christ to people, and people to Christ. First and foremost, I myself need to fall madly in love with Jesus Christ.
As a regional seminary, Sacred Heart is educating and forming future priests from across the state of Michigan and across the country. Beside the Detroit ordinations, nine seminary graduates have been or will be ordained this spring for four other dioceses. That makes a total of thirteen new priests from the Sacred Heart Class of 2016. To allGod's blessings on your new ministries.
