Greetings! My name is Lizandro Barba. Today I wanted to share with you about my day. We began our day at the Church of the Annunciation, where the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, announcing that she was going to be the Mother of God. It was here that we focused on Mary’s “YES”to God. Mary gives us, as Catholics, a model of how to follow the Will of God wherever it takes us. In the second part of the day, we went to the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus spent 3 years doing various ministries. One of the events that I really enjoy is when Jesus is with His disciples on the boat. From here, he calls Peter out toward Him. As Peter begins to go out toward the Lord, he begins to sink because he is afraid. Likewise, at times the Lord is calling us out to the sea where there are waves, wind, and everything else. Yet, Jesus is always there, and we should always maintain our gaze fixed on Him. Amen.
