Thank you for your participation and generosity

by Editorial Team

Sacred Heart Major Seminary recently concluded its annual Giving Heart Day, an opportunity for the community to invite friends and family to support the mission of forming the next generation of priests, deacons and lay ministers to carry out the New Evangelization,

We extend our deepest gratitude to all who graciously participated this year. Your prayers and financial support advance our mission and allow us to form the next generation of leaders who will bring the Good News to our parishes, schools, and communities. Your belief in and backing of this mission plays an indispensable role. Thank you for your unwavering generosity.

Each year, Giving Heart Day highlights the generosity of our community and serves as a testament to God's abundant blessings. Director of Alumni Relations & Special Events Emily Berschback reflected on the success of the initiative, “What an awesome day to be able to share the mission of SHMS! I continue to be amazed by the generosity of our donors and friends.” Inspired by the support shown by so many, she went on to say, “I hope you know the difference your gift makes, thank you for investing in our future Priests, Deacons, and Lay Leaders. Know of our continued prayers to you and your families during this Advent season.”

Highlighting the wide reach of Sacred Heart’s impact, Fr. Stephen Burr, Rector noted that “The reach of Sacred Heart Major Seminary is a mission for the local Church as well as the many dioceses, religious communities, and international students we serve. Giving Heart Day sees donations from the wide community of Sacred Heart.” He expressed his gratitude to the many who make that reach possible commenting, “The generosity of our donors brings the life of Jesus Christ into so many people by the priests, deacons, and lay ministers who receive formation from this seminary. I am grateful to our donors for their generous participation to fund the programing at the seminary."
